Orion Nebula

The Orion Nebula is the brightest nebulae in the night sky, and is visible to the naked eye.
This photograph was taken using 4 separate filters RGB + Ha to capture the hydrogen alpha formation that this nebula is so rich in. Total exposure time was 8 hrs with the longest sub-frame of 16 min. using a SBig ST8300 camera. More info at www.RobsAstrophotos.com
